All the "Stop Silencing Christians" signs that were located in downtown Lake Elsinore have been removed. I hope that concerned Christian citizens have removed them and taken them to be photocopied and they will soon be up again, both all over downtown and all over the country! I hope it is not too late for Christians in America, considering the Mozilla executive who was fired for contributing $1,000 to Prop 8. Activist judges then proceeded to overturn the will of the people because of their own ideologies and without respect to the laws of this country.
Remember, too, that President and Mrs. Obama -- as well as the Clintons -- both publicly voiced their opposition to same-sex marriage. Of course, now that Obama is secure in his position and Clinton is now sniffing around to be the next Commander-in-Chief, they have done an about-face and embraced whatever is most popular at the time, never mind that they both claim to be Christians.
God knows the heart. He tells us that we will be judged for our sins. He tells us that homosexuality is a sin. I don't think it should be. I mean, who cares what people do in their bedrooms? Well, since God does, then I must also agree. It's even difficult to argue against gay marriage without referencing the Bible. The only good argument against gay marriage is that God said that homosexuality is a sin. But what do you do when it seems like nobody believes in the Bible? As hard as it is, we must stand for God. We will be outcasts. People will balk at our old-fashioned ways and say we are uncivilized, bigoted, and hateful. But we know the truth, so we must stand firm. Satan is the father of lies and he spreads lies against God that the Bible is not to be believed, that it is outdated, or that we can pick and choose whatever is convenient to apply to our times.
God's Word is true and never-changing. Sin deserves judgment and people who sin will suffer for their sins, unless the accept Jesus and trust Him as their Lord and Savior. Only Jesus can save us from judgment because He took our sins upon Him and suffered the punishment we all deserved. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Trust God.
Kudos to whoever is running around Lake Elsinore putting up little wooden crosses. I applaud your defiance of the local anti-Christians. Now, someone needs to go up on that hill on Mission Trail and reinstall the cross that was defaced or fell down!
