All the "Stop Silencing Christians" signs that were located in downtown Lake Elsinore have been removed. I hope that concerned Christian citizens have removed them and taken them to be photocopied and they will soon be up again, both all over downtown and all over the country! I hope it is not too late for Christians in America, considering the Mozilla executive who was fired for contributing $1,000 to Prop 8. Activist judges then proceeded to overturn the will of the people because of their own ideologies and without respect to the laws of this country.
Remember, too, that President and Mrs. Obama -- as well as the Clintons -- both publicly voiced their opposition to same-sex marriage. Of course, now that Obama is secure in his position and Clinton is now sniffing around to be the next Commander-in-Chief, they have done an about-face and embraced whatever is most popular at the time, never mind that they both claim to be Christians.
God knows the heart. He tells us that we will be judged for our sins. He tells us that homosexuality is a sin. I don't think it should be. I mean, who cares what people do in their bedrooms? Well, since God does, then I must also agree. It's even difficult to argue against gay marriage without referencing the Bible. The only good argument against gay marriage is that God said that homosexuality is a sin. But what do you do when it seems like nobody believes in the Bible? As hard as it is, we must stand for God. We will be outcasts. People will balk at our old-fashioned ways and say we are uncivilized, bigoted, and hateful. But we know the truth, so we must stand firm. Satan is the father of lies and he spreads lies against God that the Bible is not to be believed, that it is outdated, or that we can pick and choose whatever is convenient to apply to our times.
God's Word is true and never-changing. Sin deserves judgment and people who sin will suffer for their sins, unless the accept Jesus and trust Him as their Lord and Savior. Only Jesus can save us from judgment because He took our sins upon Him and suffered the punishment we all deserved. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Trust God.
Kudos to whoever is running around Lake Elsinore putting up little wooden crosses. I applaud your defiance of the local anti-Christians. Now, someone needs to go up on that hill on Mission Trail and reinstall the cross that was defaced or fell down!

Some Posters Still Up!
The "Stop Silencing Christians" posters are still up throughout Lake Elsinore. I noticed that many have been taken down, but some still remain, even on the same telephone pole as ones that were removed. This leads me to believe that people may be taking them because they like them or agree with them, not because they want them down.
If you see one of these posters, grab it off the telephone pole and take it home. Photocopy it, hand them out to your friends, post them yourself. I think we should plaster the entire county. I hope they become like the "Andre the Giant" slap tags that graced signs across the country. Fight against the backlash that silences Christians. You have the right to donate to something like Prop 8 and not lose your job. You should be able to refuse to serve anyone whose lifestyle the Bible condemns. You can speak up against the travesties committed by the government and protest when it oversteps its constitutional authority. The Constitution itself demands you do this!
What kind of country has this become? Stand up for your rights or you will lose them forever.

Never Give Up!
Keep running the good race. Jesus said if the world hated him, the world will hate us. (John 15:18) We have to fight against the powers of darkness, even though they are relentless and never-ending. Jesus also said that "In the world you will have tribulation (trouble), but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) We have faith in the things not seen. We keep following him even though the world mocks us and condemns us. Even though the entire country seems to embrace gay marriage and abortion and every other sin that is forbidden in the Bible, we know that the Bible is right. What profit is it if you gain the world and lose your soul?
Keep fighting for what is right. Do not tire of pursuing truth and justice. Speak up and let your voice be heard. Don't let anyone tell you that you're hateful, bigoted, or prejudiced. Those are the lies of the devil. The devil hates gays and wants them to burn in hell. Christians love all people, no matter what sin they are caught up in. Jesus wants us to show the world his love. He wants all sinners to repent and come to him. The devil wants to kill, steal, and destroy. People mixed up in the gay lifestyle, those who are addicted to drugs and alcohol, families splitting up, kids selling themselves on the streets, and dead babies all fulfill Satan's goals. Stand up for Jesus!

The War Rages On
Well, I was disappointed to see that many of the "Stop Silencing Christians" signs were removed this weekend from all around Lake Elsinore. However, I do admit that they stayed up much longer than I thought they would.
I went to McVicker park around March 22, after the plaque was supposed to be installed for Anthony Devaney. I saw a small pedestal but no plaque. I wonder if the ceremony marked where it would be, but it had not yet been finished or if someone already stole it and sold it for scrap metal? My heart goes out to AnnMarie Devaney. She seems like such a nice person to be willing to take down the cross to keep the peace. I respect her decision, after all, we are supposed to live peacefully with one another.
Though part of me wishes she had fought the American Humanist Association. We shouldn't just roll over while being stripped of our freedoms. The AHA is an extremist organization. Monica Miller's extracurricular interests include fighting for the full personhood of animals! Don't you love how liberals will kill a human baby without a second thought yet will die defending the rights of animals and the environment? Why should we allow a vocal minority to trample the Constitution and the intent of the framers and founders of this nation? They knew what they were doing when they wrote the documents of freedom. They knew we are created by God -- "endowed by our creator" isn't a reference to Darwin! They were establishing a government that did not have a state church like the church of England. Doesn't anyone know their history?
So what if the state endorses one religion over another? This nation was founded as a Christian nation. It's historical fact. Revisionists are attempting to remove all references to Jesus and God, but the references are many and varied. These references remain in capitol buildings, statues, songs, paintings, prayers, books, anthems, and all manner of expression. There is no requirement to equally represent all religions and beliefs or lack thereof. Public school teachers can teach the Biblical foundation of Easter and Christmas in their classrooms without mentioning competing ideals. (See http://www.gtbe.org) Public school students can distribute tracts about Jesus at school or pray without fear of reprisal. We still retain some religious rights, though the Supreme Court dutifully misinterprets law according to whichever president appointed the most judges who support his ideological stance. We are surely headed down a path of destruction because of the left-leaning judges appointed in the last few years. But until they make a majority, the ideals are split right along party lines. God bless those strong justices who fight for Biblical truth and remain faithful to the conservative ideals of our founding fathers.
It all comes down to what kind of nation is best? We are supposed to be a beacon of light, a city on a hill that illuminates truth, justice, liberty, equality, and moral right. If we compromise our integrity and revise our Constitution to accommodate every minority belief, then what makes us any different than any other nation who caters to their least common denominator? We should be strong and stand up for the Bible that separates us from other nations. This spiritual battle isn't about representing a diversity of beliefs. It's about preserving Christianity in a world bent on destroying it. Don't worry, though, if you read the Book, you know that God wins in the end.
